Dailymotion is the best way to find, watch, and share the internet's most popular videos. Sadly the commercials are nuts. I dont accept having to login in order to access the same content I can find with any search engine. Please try again Alternative: Install Dailymotion from Google Play Store. Everything profiles you these days. Wish they'd fix that, and allow some kind of premium subscribe button.Don't expect it to be even remotely anything like 'a youtube alternative'. The free app offers a single uniform place for video viewing and uploading with separate tabs for viewers and creators. Installed the app to watch a video that works perfectly fine on my desktop PC.
Admittedly because I did not have a smart tv I had to buy a Miracast compatible device which allowed me to stream to my TV.
I can log in with my google account through my computer to their web site and watch my channels and saves.

I have been watching on the dailymotion website for a while on my computer and when I noticed it comes for the TV stick as well, I happily installed it. Download latest version of Dailymotion app.
Then I have to go back into the app, look for the program I had been trying to watch, fast forward (which for some reason takes like 5 full minutes, no exaggeration, to fast forward 5 minutes into) and then, half the time it will crash again immediately when I hit play again, or I'll get another 2 minutes out of it before having to go through these steps again. Start watching ANYTHING on here, and it will crash in a couple of minutes, taking me back to the fire stick home screen.
I see benefits of this to the app provider. Sometimes you get none for 8 episodes, then you get an infinite loop of the same ad for hours. Such a pity as there is some good video content at Dailymotion. Regular uploaders do gain the bonus drag and drop feature, useful for uploading numerous files at once with a single click, as well as more detailed channel options which make it worthwhile.Dailymotion for Windows 10 is something of a mixed bag. Despite failing to reach the number of active users of YouTube, their core base have stuck with the site since 2007.
