Formed in 1999 by three former members of Belgian metalcore/hardcore/death metal band Spineless (2) (Colin Van Eeckhout, Mathieu Vandekerckhove and Kristof Mondy) after Spineless split up in 1999. A real beauty that I imagine will be admired for years to come.

It was formed in 1999 by vocalist Colin H. van Eeckhout and guitarist Mathieu Vandekerckhove, who now perform alongside drummer Bjorn Lebon, guitarist Lennart Bossu and bassist Levy Seynaeve. Plus Près De Toi 4. 'A Dawn To Fear' is one of the best Post-Metal albums ever recorded and is one of the defining Metal albums of the past decade. Saw them live in Grand Rapids, Russian Circles sense of pacing is extraordinary and it shows from beginning to end on their albums. Am Kreuz Tracks 1, 2, 3 I'm not generally a fan of funeral paced stuff but the sonic quality of this makes it a very enjoyable experience indeed.
