This band is brilliant and this is my favorite song of theirs. Amazing guitar and great emotion from the Cowboys From Hell. This is just a great power metal song you can shake your fist to and enjoy. This song speaks for itself -- fast, powerful, energetic and downright metal. Yeah, yeah. This song has such good power and is super catchy.

They know how to write amazing guitar riffs and choruses that just sound awesome. Arch Enemy is really, really good.

I really love how this song ends so stick around until the ending. I love how it starts out. RIP Chuck. guitarist Chris Holmes upcoming documentary, Mean Man The Story of Chris Holmes, is now available. Ayreon is the type of group that you know is just super smart. Very talented group here. This one sticks with you. I hope you enjoy some nostalgia and possibly discover a few new cool songs :)

My goal with businesses is to help move the human ...if Death is number 1, you should include Necrophagist - Fermented Offal Discharge between the top ten or before Children of Bodom, in that list. 100% win right here. These guys deliver.

Leaves’ Eyes have shared a video for the song “Dark Love Empress.” The track is taken from their upcoming album, The Last Viking, out October 23rd via AFM Records. This whole album that this song is on is really good but this is my favorite song of the group.

Amazing riffs, perfect solo(s) and great energy throughout. From pubs, arenas, to stadiums, thrash metal bands ruled when it came to live performances. Manowar.

The band is also a mainstay of the festival scene.

I mean, the music speaks for itself. Speaking of trance metal (a term I coined), put your war helmet on and let Amon Amarth take you on a viking ship towards metal Valhalla. Some people might get upset that this band is on this list but I don't care. This whole album is very, very good.

They have been going strong for decades and have a huge list of songs to choose from. Send us a message at: If you want to hear the guitar speak the soul of another person then prepare yourself with this one.

In this list you will find everything from Fantasy Power Metal to Nordic Black Metal (and oddly enough more ballads than you might suspect). Now I decided to limit the list to my favorite song from each band, so this will actually be the top song from the top 50 metal bands, all my opinion of course. The outro on this song is just brilliant. The group issued the following statement:   “Important information about the Van Tour 2020: Foo Fighters have cancelled the Van Tour […]  Halestorm have shared a video for the reimagined version of “Break In” featuring Evanescence’s Amy Lee.

The lyrics tell the story of freedom and honor. This song is just too hard not to listen to. Canadian speed metal band Razor is still going strong after 35 years, with Dave Carlo at the helm and a revolving door of band members at his side. The group has now shared a preview from the show and revealed the performance is available on Demand through August 31st. Talk about an encore! This song is popular, but it is popular for great reason. thank you. This list is just so lol.

The way they do these industrial type doom metal choruses is pretty interesting. Amazing song. Here's another amazing group from Finland. It would be perfect for a trailer.

I know you've heard this song a million times but why not give it another listen and enjoy it like the very first time you heard it :) 100 Greatest Thrash Metal Songs: Definition: Thrash metal songs are fast and aggressive, characterised by using high speed low-register guitar riffs, overlaid with shredding-style lead work. We miss you.I am an entrepreneur at heart. RIP Hanneman.

For whatever reason, I've always loved the pace and lyrics to this song. Front man Alain Jourgensen had previously been in new wave band Special Affect, and when he formed Ministry with bassist Marty Sorenson, drummer Stephen George and Rob Roberts and John Davies on keyboards, the band was in a similar vein, and appeared alongside the likes of the Thompson Twins and the Human League.

RIP Dimebag.

I would call it trance metal :)

Pure epic masterpiece.

Paradise Lost has a really smooth and laid back type of a feel. Alright, here's just some straight metal that you can bang your head to. It comes in with some heavy guitar and pure viking strength. This is my favorite song of theirs for no reason other than it speaks to me more than any of their other songs.

There are tons of good metal songs out there but this one is unique. The title track from their 1990 album is one of the fastest. Check out the video below and pre-order the EP here: The metal scene is full of top tens.

This song is like a journey that takes you through many different galaxies which is why I like it so much :) I bet you've never heard of this band. Graveworm, a symphonic black metal band from Italy, has actually covered a number of non-metal songs to date, including R.E.M.’s “Losing My Religion,” “It’s a Sin” by the Pet Shop Boys, and Bonnie Tyler’s “I Need a Hero.” 10. This song has it all. The #2 metal song is no small task, and Testament is no stranger to metal. This is just a masterpiece displaying perfection in every aspect.
