It's more real and interesting to watch, since you can experience the small symptoms of growing love. I'm not sure what deity is that but I assume she is the one who bless women to be conceived.
I feel cheated.. my heart is stabbed with goblin's sword! People can't see him if he wear the 'hat'. I don't know if there is any k-dramas can be as great as Signal. As far as the story goes, the only thing different is that instead of all human characters, you had mythical beings instead. she deserves alittle cheer on her life. Let me first say the best thing about Goblin is the acting. I’m not saying this drama is awful; but an average drama that could have been ended in 6 episodes.
Questions of destiny, fate, God. You could see why the Grim Reaper would like her. And that scene introducing each character (like they put a scene when ji eun tak and kim shin passing by each other, than they introduce Kim Go Eun. Spin off will be great. He's doing his best but I'm not feeling the usual emotional connection with GY unlike with his past dramas & movies.
Such one of the best korean drama i ever watched. 5. Kim Shin does not know why, but he can hear her voice and appears in front of her against his will. She'd probably give Grim Reaper more screen time now since many viewers expressed their interest on his character. Secret garden is definitely the only good k-drama that she has written, the rest are overrated (my opinion only).
I do prefer love stories like f. ex in It's Okay, That's Love - they meet: he was a little interested in her, she didn't like him at all, they started to spend time together plus finally he could talk to her about his secrets and problems, he felt connection and understanding with her, and eventually they started having true feelings for each other. I'm not feeling any chemistry between the goblin and his bride. Also I missed Sungjae acting and I hope he acts some more as a main lead again. Loved this drama.
A girl that he want and need to end his immortal life. His bromance with Lee Dong Wook was hella funny.
All those essential characters will go back Half-Elf Archer Goblin Slayer, Lizard Priest, Spearman Priestess. This is the first time after so many dramas I watched that I cried until my head got dizzy and my voice goes hoarse.
I'm really curious and excited seriously!^^ Nope, didn't see any copycat scene here. I wanna give you suggestion.
If it is like @bella said: Sunny will be the one to pull the sword out while Eun Tak is the bride who can save the Goblin curse. At the introduction part, they put a glimpse of a scene before they introduce the actor's or the actress's name.
@Nana - it makes me wonder if Kdrama writers have this long list of cliches & stereotype they share & use when they create characters, scenes etc... like how women are portrayed as helpless dimwits who can't survive w/o men to the point of willingly sacrificing their dignity to get the man.
The last 3 episodes was kinda rush, too many flashback scene, melodramatic and quite heavy to sum everything and swallow it .
I admit the story was interesting in the beginning, which kinda get me hook up especially the bromance between goblin and grim reaper.
To thos who are saying that Kim Go Eun's acting was so so, wake up, she did so well, you can see the mature side of Ji Eun Tak even when she's still young. At last, in the end, why did Kim Shin waited 900 years for his bride if it turned out not to be his curse, but because he was killed by a sword destined to kill Park Joong Hun?
He was trapped in a lamp so technically he had no choice but be a slave & grant the wishes of his master in the hopes of getting his freedom.
But i cant see the sad goblin in him :p overall 4/5 However, the same Kdrama Cinderalla type cliche of poor girl from tough background meets rich dude, falls in love, encounters a lot of struggles only to lose dude then gets dude back again (or not) & they live happily ever after. Jeon Do-Yeon was previously having affair with Gong-Yoo at a movie called A Man and A Woman.
and why his eyes teary when he knew the goblin will go?
I was glad to see Grim Reaper portrayed as not too dark yet his 'darkness' shld not be eliminated altogether. It was given to him by his grandfather. He was last mentioned when they had dinner at Goblin's house and had a coffee in a park with Secretary Kim. for me, this drama has lots of cheesy scenes in it and it needs something serious to counter those cheesiness. It is written by Kim Eun Sook, who also wrote the very successful dramas: “Heirs” (2013) and “Descendants of the Sun” (2016). Hope he will have another kdrama with Yoo In Na, they are a match made in heaven, their chemistry is amazing. I don't wanna be alone anymore" make you wanna cry plot.
THE BAD: Critics raise a valid point when they say that the story dragged for longer than it should. The entire drama was peppered with very original scriptwriting and comedy.
