Overall a good performance from them. The guitar tones did the opposite of a lot of shows, under emphasizing the upper mids a tad while boosting the lower mids to give it some weight without overdoing it so you could still hear all the harmonies clearly.

Iced Earth brings the metal. Anyway, Michael Romeo's guitar playing really stood out and Michael Ruello's drums were by far the best of the night and the level of speed he plays at is incredible.

Come back to Saskatoon again soon!The show was an awesome mix of metal. They put on a good show but the sound wasn't quite as balanced as symphony x. Wicked riffing and an amazing new vocalist made for the perfect combination of thrash and heavy metal that are Iced Earth. Unfortunately I had to go before their set was done, but I wouldn't mind seeing them again.Excelent Concert... Symphony X was Amazing and Iced Earth was AWESOME!!

Something the roadie"s should have looked at. They had lots of energy and got the crowd going. but I have to go with Iced Earth! Great performance! They were tight, sounded great, and also very energetic. The only thing I would ding was the vocalist was using some sort of vocal effects which was mildly annoying. Shop with confidence. Following the supporting tour for Night of the Stormrider, Iced Earth entered a two-year hiatus from 1992 to 1994. It's difficult to see who was better Symphony X or Iced earth.
