I've been following Myrkur's carreer for some time now and this is, in my opinion, a masterpiece. Habe die Platte jetzt zum zweiten Mal zurück geschickt, da sie wiederholt Streifen hatte und nicht wie eine neue aussah. If you were unfamiliar with her, you'd be slackjawed to hear her other work because this work is so far removed from that sound. This album is a true masterpiece. Beautifully performed, beautifully recorded.
J'adore ! This is not ordinary sit and chill album for metal heads, there are some dark pieces here that might just crack some skulls with their subtlety. It is so tight, you struggle to get the LP into its sleeve. Meine hohen Erwartungen wurden leider enttäuscht.

A friend showed this artist to me via Facebook and I knew I had to order her album when it came out. Das Album klingt konstruiert und seelenlos. I enjoyed the story like feel the album had, the music seemed to take you on a journey, with certain songs if you closed your eyes you could almost picture the wintery forests in Denmark. Bei der ersten Version hat das überhaupt nicht funktioniert. Je préfère écouter Myrkur avec ses ailes blanches comme un ange que de petites cornes noir comme un diable.
