Still, most children will love a magical and extraordinary adventure in the park with Mary Poppins. This actually is not a separate visit from stern and charming Mary Poppins but adventures that happened in her prior visits.

That said, it was enjoyable. The chapter "Hallowe'en" seems like it might also fit this "mystical" category, in that the townspeople's shadows take a night off and have a party (for, surprise, Mary Poppins' birthday).
