Pixies are a major influence to so many of the really famous bands everybody knows, yet their contribution is shamefully unseen.

How they are able to create such interesting music is beyond me. Also the bass riffs are so catchy and the drums compliment the rest perfectly. After the release of their first album, the members of their live band, Matthew Asti, James I would say this is one of the most underrated bands out there. Rather predictably, we found the list dominated by just a few bands - Stone Roses, Pulp, Radiohead, Strokes, Arctic Monkeys etc. I love all their albums, every one of them has something magical and catchy, plus the lyrics you can dive in.
