Having that out of our way let me start this one quickly: Three weeks ago I've been to the "Never Say Die! Event in Barcelona, Spain by Never Say Die! Never Say Die! It's an annual tour presented by Impericon with stops mostly in Germany and a few in other neighbouring European countries. It was the first time ever that I left a concert before it finished. I have to admit that after a while their set got a little boring because the songs they played all sounded a little repetitive live due to the amount of chugs they use in their music; but overall it was a great show by Kublai Khan.Now listen up you little shits, because this band was literally the only reason I went to that show in the first place. It wasn't the best performance of the night, but definitely a good and satisfying one. They dropped a brilliant new album earlier this year; a lot of fans were criticizing that they were startimg to get less heavy (which ia actually true), but All Smiles has a nice dark and depressive touch to it, which I personally enjoyed a lot. I intended to say legends, but I feel like the only legendary thing avout this band is how big of an asshole their vocalist can be so yeah, whatever....Emmure is a quiet controversial band: Some people love them their jerk-attitude and not giving a fuck about what people may think of them, and most people hate them because of probably yhe same reason, plus the almost abusive usage of chugs and breakdowns in their music. They seem to be just another generic melodic metalcore band like the thousands of others out there, but sometimes there's this nice little touch that makes them somewhat worth listening too. At first listen I somehow found them to be interesting, but after a few more listens and looking up their lyrics (which had to be some of the most generic lyrics I ever layed my eyes on), I simply lost my interest in them.Let me tell you that they completely sucked live as well. Whatever you may call their genre one things clear: These guys kick ass! Deez Nuts – Impericon Never Say Die! So, how much do you know about Alpha Wolf? Like his screams were really good, but why having good screams when you don't use them? Emmure are ready and waiting to tear into Europe this fall.
